Being able to create an iso of the C-drive is probably important too. I would prefer a backup solution that backs up the files without compression or proprietary unlocking software so my files are exactly like those on my computer. I think on the current version you have to get the paid updates yearly or you lose access to your backups. At one point, on one of my computers, my computer would hang when shutting down until I uninstalled Acronis. It frequently failed when attempting to back up automatically. I had been using Acronis True Image, but I'm not totally happy with it. You can also use the OneDrive mobile app to access your folders on any device.I am using an external dock with bare hard drives and will continue to do so, though I'm not against having a cloud back-up in addition to the hard drive backup.
